Reminders & frost alerts
See what's coming up in the garden, and get a morning email plus a frost warning for your ZIP.
Open the Reminders tab. Heirloom lists what is due in the next 21 days, then a look further ahead, using the same dates as your timeline. Already planted? Heirloom stops telling you to start that crop and counts the harvest from the day you planted it.

Morning email
The Morning email card sits beside the list (at the top on a phone). Its pill shows whether email is on.
- Switch on Email me reminders, check the address, and pick a heads-up of 3, 7 or 14 days.
- Switch on Frost alerts to check the National Weather Service forecast for your ZIP. If a freeze is coming in the next couple of days, a red banner says so (and the email does too).
- Press Save email settings. Each morning (8am Central) Heirloom sends one short note if something in your window is due. You will not get the same reminder twice.
Every kind of reminder
The page lists them all under What Heirloom reminds you about: start seeds indoors, harden off, last spring frost, transplant, direct sow, succession rounds, harvest opens, harvest ends, fall planting, pick before frost, first fall frost, and frost alerts.
Free and Season Pass
Reminders and frost alerts are part of the Annual, Perennial and the 7-day trial: the full list here and every reminder by email. On Free, the tab shows a preview of what you would get.
With a Season Pass, to print just your reminders, open this tab and press Print / PDF.
